With the Stuttgart Concertino, Trummer again had a very attentively accompanying orchestra at his disposal, which mastered the high, sometimes operatic demands of the score in an impressive manner. The soloist tercet was also a particularly lucky choice: Both vocally and creatively, the young artists were convincing on an outstanding level. The Greek soprano Fanie Antonelou sang clear and effortless coloratura. Lyrical melting, expressive recitative shaping and always round, softly timbred tenor tones with beautifully balanced high notes were the trademark of the Stuttgart tenor Philipp Nicklaus. 175 … 60 … 25 Jahre! Mit 175 Jahren ist das Traditions-Ensemble der Landeshauptstadt tatsächlich der dienstälteste Konzertchor, der sich seit seiner Gründung im Jahre 1847 im Wesentlichen der oratorischen Literatur widmete und noch immer sehr vital widmet. Für sein großes Jubiläumskonzert im Beethovensaal der Liederhalle stand einmal mehr Haydns Klassiker „Die Schöpfung“ auf dem Programm. With 175 years, the traditional ensemble of the state capital of Baden-Württemberg is actually the longest-serving concert choir, which since its founding in 1847 has devoted itself essentially to oratorical literature and still very vital. For its big anniversary concert in the Beethoven Hall of the Liederhalle, Haydn’s classic „The Creation“ was once again on the program.
