All concert plans for 2021 cancelled by 4th wave

Last weekend was an incredible shock for our choir! For weeks the singers of the Stuttgarter Oratorienchor had been preparing in intensive, harmonious rehearsals for the first concert in these Covid times. The preparations were in full swing. Both musically and organizationally, it could not have gone better: Performing the concert according to the so-called „2G rule“ (means fully vaccinated or recovered) seemed to be a sure thing, after all, we and all other contributors were fully vaccinated! Minulý víkend byl pro náš sbor neuvěřitelným šokem! Zpěváci Stuttgartského oratorního sboru se na první koncert v těchto korunovačních časech připravovali několik týdnů v intenzivních a harmonických zkouškách. Přípravy byly v plném proudu. Po hudební i organizační stránce to nemohlo dopadnout lépe: Provedení koncertu podle pravidla 2G se zdálo být jisté, vždyť my i všichni ostatní přispěvatelé jsme byli plně očkováni! Ale neuvěřitelná nakažlivost viru nás naučila lépe… V budoucnu budeme muset přehodnotit některé parametry předpisů 2G a 3G. Le week-end dernier a été un choc incroyable pour notre chorale ! Pendant des semaines, les chanteurs et chanteuses du chœur d’oratorio de Stuttgart s’étaient préparés à leur premier concert en ces temps de corona lors de répétitions intenses et harmonieuses. Les préparatifs allaient bon train. Tant sur le plan musical que sur celui de l’organisation, cela n’aurait pas pu mieux se passer : Organiser le concert selon la règle 2G semblait être une chose sûre, après tout, nous et tous les autres participants étions complètement vaccinés !
