The choir ticket pre-sale is now closed . Did you only recently find out about our concert through our glass poster advertising, which can be seen at many railway stations in the Stuttgart city area, or through other media? Don’t panic, you can spontaneously decide to attend “our” Carmina Burana and spin the wheel of fortune of the Fortuna together with us: The box office will be at your disposal from 18:15. We await you full of anticipation! Hall opening is from 18:30. Please choose your own seat.

Die Sommerkonzerte des Stuttgarter Oratorienchors sind traditionell in ihrer programmatischen Ausrichtung frei. Im Gegensatz zum Passionskonzert oder Weihnachtskonzert, wo thematische Zusammenhänge Berücksichtigung finden, konnten wir im Sommer im Laufe der vergangenen Jahre die Gelegenheit wahrnehmen, mit besonderen Werken unseren Kulturbeitrag zu leisten. Beispielhaft dafür wären etwa die Misa Tango von Palmeri mit instrumentalen Tango-Kompositionen von Piazzolla (2019), die opernhafte Petite Messe solennelle von Rossini (2018), die Friedensmesse The Armed Man von Jenkins (2015) oder auch ein gemischtes französisches Programm wie Musique du ciel mit Werken von Franck, Fauré, Vierne, Widor etc. (2011). The Summer Concerts of the Stuttgart Oratorio Choir are traditionally free in their programmatic orientation. In contrast to the Passion Concert or Christmas Concert,where thematic contexts are taken into account, we have been able to take the opportunity in the summer over the past years to make our cultural contribution with special works.
